Question:1 Writing Scenarios
In order to build a scenario, you need to identify the driving forces as well as the trends that may have an impact on your organization and the environment in which it operates in the long term. In looking at trends, you should ask yourself which are the most important and likely to have the most impact, as well as which are the most predictable and least predictable in the future time frame you are considering.
For this Discussion, review the data collected from previous weeks and continue to do research using the Internet, databases, government reports, newspaper articles, and other sources to answer one of the following groups of questions that will help build your scenarios with regard to your organization.

Explain which trends are likely to have the most impact on your organization and region. Explain which trends are likely to have predictable outcomes and which may have unpredictable ones.
Identify and explain at least three of the data resources you used to answer the question, and identify where you might look for additional information
World News 2030
An effective exercise in writing scenarios is to develop newspaper headlines describing key events or trends that take place during the course of the scenario. For example a headline could be, "6th hurricane in 21 days hits Gulf Coast." Such a headline could come from the forecasts for more extreme weather events, including hurricanes, as Earth's climate becomes warmer. Imagine you are an editor for a global digital news organization called World News in the year 2030.
