Many theorists have their own stage theories specific to the emerging adult and adult stages of development. Choosing from among Erickson's Eight Stage Theory of Development, Schaie's Lifespan Model of Cognitive Development, Havighurst's Developmental Tasks, Levinson's Seasons of Life and Gould's Transformations. Identify and describe the one which you favor and explain why. Specifically describe their theory (example Erikson presents his theory in the form of specific tasks or challenges). Why have you selected this theorist as your favorite above others?
