Focused discussions need to be detailed such that they demonstrate an increased, graduate level of understanding of the topics beyond the general discussions. Examples are also a good approach to do this.
Identify and describe a current Technology such as nanotechnology, information technology, carbon capture and storage technology, semiconductor manufacturing technology, solar technology, Bar Code technology, biomass technology, nuclear energy technology (fission - fusion), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, etc. (Each student should try to research a different technology or identify additional aspects of technologies that have already been discussed in this week's forum.)
