Discussion Post: Reflections on Net Zero
Identify an organization (public, private, nonprofit) - U.S. or international - that has publicly pledged to be net zero by 2050.
(One caveat: the organization cannot be Shell Global.) Develop an essay that:
• Introduces your organization and describes why it has decided to become net-zero. (50 words)
• Indicates which key stakeholders are affected by its decision. (100 words)
• Identifies what risks that it considered in making its decision to be net zero? If none are indicated, are there risks that you can infer that the company was trying to avoid or mitigate? (200 words)
• Articulates what planned actions will get it to net zero. (150 words)
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
