They key for an effective supply chain is the ability to identify, adjust, and implement measures to keep your chain running in a cost-effective manner. When outsiders think of supply chain management, they often think of boxes and ordering. However, supply chain managers are the conductors in all facets of manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and warehousing. The consumer is ensured a smooth transaction because of men and women that ensure all aspects are working harmoniously together.
