Identify a social problem/phenomenon

Problem:

You have identified a social problem/phenomenon, and conducted an interview with someone who has experienced such problem/phenomenon. I already conduct the interview and this is the hypothesis    Research Hypothesis

Using this interview and the identified themes, I would like to suggest the following research hypothesis that can be referred to in the future: In high cost jurisdictions with large expatriate populations, work permit dependency and the housing market pressure has generated a different manifestation of invisible poverty of employed people, which is financial solvency on paper but chronic instability in practice, which leads to behavioural adjustments such as social withdrawal,  avoidance of health care and truncated temporal horizons to generate a perpetual cycle of socioeconomic vulnerability across generations (Compendium of Statistics 2022 Released,  2022). According to this hypothesis, the following research opportunities can be offered: quantitative research of housing cost burden of the work permit holders; comparative research studies of in visible poverty in other similar jurisdictions (Singapore, Bermuda, Monaco); longitudinal research of the intergenerational mobility of children of expatriate workers with the local citizenship; policy research of the work permit framework and its connection with the Labor market exploitation. This kind of research might help to create more subtle measures of poverty that would be able to reflect precarity that is not linked to income levels, and policy interventions that would not be focused on the individual, but on the structural aspect of financial strains in prosperous tourist economies.

1. You are further required to conduct a comprehensive literature review of the selected social problem based on the hypothesis/thesis statement from assignment one. Need Assignment Help?

2. You are required to write an analysis of the various sources to reflect, explain and share how the literature review brought about further clarity and understanding this social phenomenon. Articulate insights into your own biases and awareness of how your experiences have shaped the learning process, resulting in ownership of self-directed growth.

The research paper must be submitted with the interview as one document (a total of 6-9 pages, double-spaced, and excluding cover/reference pages).

The research paper must be written in APA style.

You must have the final paper vetted by an English or Writing lab instructor. Proof is required.
