Homework: Identifying a Research Topic for Your Paper
In clinical Psychology
Describe a proposed research topic and identify a school of thought that you think might align well with it. Your paper should be two pages of text (no abstract required, but do include a title page) and should include the following components:
a. Identify a researchable topic appropriate for your specialization.
• Support your topic choice with research from a minimum of 3-5 resources.
b. Defend your research topic as an area in your specialization needing further research.
c. Relate your research topic to an appropriate school of thought.
d. Develop questions to be asked that are related to the chosen topic.
• These are not questioning you might ask study participants-rather, they are questions you wish to answer through the research study.
e. Describe how the values and practices of the identified school of thought fit the selected topic.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
