In American politics today, Congress is known for gridlock, or ineffectiveness based upon an inability of the two parties to work together. Policy-making in turn, has increasingly become local; along with a few other reasons that state and local governments impact our everyday life.
Identify a major state or local policy that impacts you or your community. Thereafter, please explain why and how it impacts you. (in WA state) less than 300 words
