In this course you will study many U.S. Supreme Court cases and also learn of the critical role the Supreme Court plays in our democracy.
We will be discussing how Supreme Court justices are appointed, how long they serve and why the founders structured these things this way.

Research the topics set out above and set out your findings. You should also include in your comment whether you feel, based on your research, that this approach to the Supreme Court is still appropriate or should be changed. Be sure to explain your position and cite authority to support your comments.

Identify a current or former Supreme Court Justice. Tell us which President nominated them and a little about their judicial philosophy and/or impact they have on landmark decisions that affect American life. Do you agree or disagree with this Justice's judicial philosophy and decision-making? Why or why not? Cite and discuss a US Supreme Court case your justice authored.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
