Theories of Development
Identifies two distinct theories of development that have strong implications for curriculum: behaviorist theory and constructivist theory. After providing a brief comparison and contrast of these two schools of thought, identify the one that most closely aligns with your personal philosophy of education and describe why. Please remember that we may use techniques that come from either behaviorist or constructivist theory, but an overall philosophy of education must align with one theory or the other. In other words, you must choose which one.
