Identification of the management

Analysis of Variance (or ANOVA) is a widely used tool for comparing group means when we have more than two groups to compare.  For example, production in three or more facilities. However, it has one flaw - it only tells us if the means are the same or if one or more is different, not which one is different.  So how do we go about determining which mean or means in the group is/are the different ones?

The research process has a number of steps between identification of the management and the final presentation of your findings.  Two very important steps are the literature review and the development of the research design.  What are each of these steps?  Why are the so important in the accomplishment of your research efforts.
