Fact to Fiction:

The session introduces you to some of the key ideas and terminology relating to factual and fictional television and film. What is ‘reality’ and how do we know it’s real? What role does objectivity play? How do we define facts and has this changed over the years? What is the role of the individual in relaying the world? What do we mean with ‘fiction’, ‘narrative’ and ‘story’? We’ll look at an overview of the module, including course outline and assessment.
