Assessment Criteria:
To achieve a satisfactory result, your assessor will be looking for your ability to demonstrate the following key skills/tasks/knowledge to an acceptable industry standard:
- Create a comprehensive network server test plan
- Implement a network server test plan
ASSESSMENT-Complete Handover Documentation
TASK1 - Document System Components
Using the Template provided, document the system;
- Also include in the documentation any operational procedures
- Warranty on existing and new hardware
- Licensing for all software
TASK2 - Review Service Level Agreement
One of the companies in the merger has a current SLA (service level agreement). You are to review this SLA and document any operational and warranty considerations after the installation of the new system.
- Will this SLA still be enforceable after the new system is initiated?
- Document any discrepancies with the current SLA
- With the current SLA do you see any maintenance issues
- Document any changes you would make to the SLA to make it applicable to the new system.
TASK 3 - Ongoing Support
The new system will require on going short-term support until all issues are resolved. Document what your short-term plan would be and include the following:
- Maintenance of Hardware and Software
- Rectification of any issues
- Staff training on the new system
- Time frame for this support
