Identifying Personal Skills and Qualities
Before you can communicate your defining traits without hesitation, you have to know what they are. Sometimes you possess traits you weren't aware you exhibited.
a. A skill is typically learned, where you practiced and gained expertise through training.
b. A quality is typically inherent, a characteristic from your personality or natural demeanor.
Required: Complete the RIASEC Assessment to help determine more clearly your interests and traits that may align with your interests.

Communicating Your Skills and Qualities
Having a solid handle on what defines you can be the basis for longer discussions with you and about you. It's important to communicate clearly your traits and why they make you relevant. This will increase your self-awareness and awareness of how people differ from others.
Include in Your Submission
a) RIASEC Interest Code (three letters with the highest scores) AND what people with those specific codes are often good at or like to do.
b) Three skills with a one sentence description of each skill as it relates to you
c) Three qualities with a one sentence description of each quality as it relates to you
d) Why your skills and qualities are important to International Business and/or Marketing (two paragraphs consisting of approximately 150-200 words)
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
