I would like to know more about mixed methods and what you

In response to peers' posts, offer helpful insight (tips, tricks, or ideas) to address their questions and/or concerns.

During the course of this class I have found that it is a bit more difficult than expected due to it being a collective project from all of the previous courses in this program. The Milestones have not been much of a struggle as much as being aware of the rubrics and making sure I fully understand the directions of the assignments. Once I do that, the actual research and writing is quite easy. One thing that I struggle with in any research assignment is methods. I know in theory what has to be done and that the best route for me would be to use mixed methods. Statistics is very difficult for me to process in practice. I have enjoyed the other aspects of this course and I know that it is just going to enhance my understanding so that I will be able to use this in the field.

I would like to know more about mixed methods and what you (classmates) are doing to have a better understanding of statistics for your programs?

An area of the final project where I am struggling is the evaluation portion and the program recommendations. I think it is difficult because I do think the program I chose is effective and would not change much to it. There are definitely aspects of the program that could be improved, however I believe that it is still a solid program to prevent diabetes. I did struggle with writing Journal 5-1. I was confused by the logic models which prevented me to do well on that journal entry. A question for my peers that I need clarification on is the different logic models and how they all differ. I struggled with this part of the course and think feedback on it would be beneficial.
