1. Even though there aren't any growth opportunities in this organization, top managers should still motivate the employees by setting good goals in order to get the highest production and performance.
2. Lack of full-time positions at this company can be solved by looking at it from Flexibility concept, which is determined by the life cycle of the position, the reward structure, and proactive personality.
3. In order to solve lack of consistency with management, the company should hire managers who have coaching and counseling skills.

Students will work in teams to provide an executive summary report and presentation for a designated company. The company has engaged the student consulting team to make recommendations on how it can become a highly desirable place to work. The consulting process has four steps:

1) Research and problem identification

Teams will conduct initial research to gain insight into the company's current challenges relative to employee satisfaction and/or engagement.

2) Solution generation

Based upon the research findings, the team will apply course concepts to generate three alternative approaches.

The team should identify one of these approaches as its recommended solution and should define a specific implementation plan using the Framework for Positive Change from Chapter 10 of the text.

3) Consulting report - (due May 10)

The team will draft an executive summary (5 page) report including the

following sections:

Problem identification - What is the problem?

Alternative approaches - What solutions should be considered? Recommendation - What action is recommended? Implementation - How can the recommendation be implemented?

A complete list of references should be provided in APA or MLA format.
