I am writing a research paper on kids and social media. I have to pick apart the pros/cons and write about the forecast for the future on the matter. I have far to many pros/cons to them all here, by the main idea for my pro is that social media can foster an environment of learning and creativity for children and open up a brooder channels of information. My con is that children are more susceptible to bullying, sexual predators, and lack judgment when it comes to what they should post about themselves in online in public forums. The part that I am struggling with is answering the question: What is the future forecast when it comes to social media and kids? How will it be different 10 years from now? Can anyone offer some thoughts? I really cant tell right now what a probable forecast is for kids using social media.
