Need help with a response to one of my classmates, I agree with your take, but I didn't see where the serial killer trait was passed down through learned behavior, as Mr. Brooks didn't kill anyone in front of his daughter or speak to her about it in any way. For the purposes of this movie I believe that the overall plot had us believe that serial killing is a family business by way of genetics
