I agree that it is pretty common practice to monitor and

Question: I agree that it is pretty common practice to monitor and escort terminated employees out. We do the same. But, I think it can be done in a way that allows the person some dignity. We usually offer to allow the person to come back over lunch hour or after 5 so the whole office doesn't observe. One person will stay to monitor the activity. It has seemed to work well for us, and we also make sure to tell the employee that it is common practice and nothing related to them personally.

Others have thoughts/experiences on this?
