They also reported on a Pennsylvania congressman who had sponsored a piece of legislation (which passed) that is hampering the Food and Drug Administration's work to reduce the impact of opiate addiction. President Trump had nominated this congressman to be the next Director of the FDA. The congressman withdrew from consideration last week.
