Human Factor : The human factor is the key factor in the success of CAD system. This concerns the training of the designer or the engineer without whom the CAD system becomes redundant. The trained designer may be actively involved in CAD process due to the followings factors.

System Factor : The other factor which matters is the system factor. The system of CAD consists of two components namely the hardware and the software. The hardware forms the physical components. A typical list of hardware for CAD system is given as follows:
