The many differences comparing genres and drama are very minor. For example story and poetry are ways to relate drama or perhaps they just focus more on special character on the focal point of the story, in poetry is much more focus on the actual potential meaning of the poem. However the main characteristic, of any poetry or story really relays on the reader, the way they feel and mostly the way they interpret the message of either. In "Rider to the Sea" is much more of a drama scene, serious, sour and very dramatic. In this story Maurya is lost to find her son has been lost in the sea, and just the tone of the story sounds very tragic.
