How your poem looks on the page

Problem: A prose poem is a poem written to look like a paragraph, but with poetic language and rhythms. This is very important: your prose poem must not read like prose, but like poetry. You must pay attention to poetic flow and rhythm, and concentrate on imagery and word choice. Consider also how your poem looks on the page - the way that sentences end and appear in a prose poem should be considered in the same way that line breaks are in a traditional poem.

The poem should be at least 20 lines in length in (Word or PDF). Breaks between stanzas do not count as lines. You may single-space your poems.
