Problem
i. You have just been notified that an inspector will be arriving tomorrow to inspect your facility's foundation. This will be the first time, since you have been manager, that an inspector will be visiting your facility. First, identify what the inspector will be looking for when checking the building's foundation. Second, the inspector will inspect the exterior walls for preventative maintenance. This has been on your areas of improvement list since you were hired. Describe how you plan to tell the inspector about how your facility is planning to address the three main areas of preventative maintenance.
ii. Your regional manager has let you know that your facility is next on the rotation for flooring renovation, which will take place in three months. Your manager has given you two weeks to compare the cost-efficiency and sustainability of various carpets versus hard surface floorings. Identify which avenue you feel is best to take from both a visual and monetary standpoint.
