Problem
The Plaintiff Larry David drank at a party and then left with friends. He rode in the back seat of the car. Friends went to the wharf on the beach, leaving him sleeping in car. He awoke, ran past everyone, and dove into water. The plaintiff hit the ground upon entry into the water and was rendered a quadriplegic.
The plaintiff sued the person who had hosted a party he attended, the person who was supposed to drive him home from the party, the friends who were with him, a person who sold the plaintiff a bottle of alcohol and the city that owned the beach.
