Discussion Post: Recognition
You are the manager of a group of employees in a health care organization. This group has done an outstanding job of contributing time and efforts during a recent emergency in your community. You have been reading the Kouzes and Posner (2012) text and have decided to practice the essentials of personal recognition and celebrations.
1) Post an outline of how you would plan to recognize these employees or even one employee in particular. In addition, provide at least one of the following:
a. A 1-page script of what you would say about this group or individual.
b. A written note of appreciation that would be given to the group or individual.
c. A professional memo that you would send to your supervisor recommending additional merit for this group or individual.
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
