As a historian, consider how you would interpret the various conflicting data and perspectives found within the commissioned report to ascertain and determine the truth of the events - what really happened and why?
Place the events within the historical context of a nation ill at ease with the migration of blacks and the arrival of foreign immigrants to explain why you think the violence escalated to the point that it did in Chicago.
