b. In American society imprisonment is seen as serving multiple purposes. Provide at least two examples of these purposes highlighted in the speech. What is your assessment of the effectiveness of these purposes?
c. Identify and discuss the three major issues faced due to incarceration and how they relate to Jim Crow era
d. Select at least two issues you would address as a social movement organizer, how you would convince people to care about these issues and changes you would introduce.
e. What do you consider as the strength of her speech; where do you see limitations in the way she presents ideas?
f. Conclude by stating at least two lessons you took away from this speech and why the speech has helped to convince you that this issue deserves to be given attention.
