This unit we have been focusing on organizational citizenship and societal responsibility. There is a lot of debate about whether or not organizations have a "debt to society" and should do what they can to make their community and even the world a better place.
For this discussion, address the following questions:
a) Should "business stick to business" or be actively involved in improving society?
b) How do you respond to CEO's and companies that take public stands on social issues like global warming, immigration, and LGBT rights?
c) Have you ever participated in a consumer boycott? Was it effective?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
