Research has found (see citation below) that followers tend to be more attuned or accommodating to negative messages and behavior from a leader of the same gender. Do you agree with this? Reflect back to your leaders throughout your career thus far. Did the gender of your leader impact how you received negative or positive messages? Did you relate to the leader more because of their gender?
