In this unit, we delve into managing conflict in the healthcare organizations, including the concepts of negotiation and third-party intervention. Select one or more of the points below and provide a personal example (does not have to be related to health care) you have seen (for better or worse) of:
a. conflict management,
b. negotiation, or
c. intervention from a third party.
After describing the incident, provide your thoughts on why the situation was successful or unsuccessful. How will you apply such principles as a healthcare manager?
Unit IV Essay 1
Instructions
If you could do anything you wanted in your current organization without constraints, how would you design your organization, and what would you change? If you are not currently working, or would like to use another organization, that is also acceptable. Please provide specific examples as they relate to the topics of this unit.
Your paper should be a minimum of one page in length. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations per APA guidelines.

Provide three theories on motivation. Include a summary of each theory, and provide your thoughts.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
