How you apply ethics concepts to program evaluation

Assignment task: How would you apply ethics concepts to this program evaluation? Be sure to reference specific potential ethical risks in the program evaluation designs. What actions would you take to ensure you uphold the principles of research ethics?

At the location of my current internship, I would use quantitative research methodologies to conduct an outcome evaluation. The program is an internship opportunity for college students that last for an entire academic year. The purpose of the internship program is to allow students to obtain experience in the field they are most interested in by having them work in an actual professional environment. Students will also have the ability to earn college credit through participation in the program. For the evaluation, a pre-post design would be used. The internship program would serve as the independent variable in this scenario. The level of work satisfaction experienced by the student would serve as the dependent variable in this case. A scale for measuring job satisfaction would be the instrument that is used. Surveys of the interns would be administered both before and after the internship program to obtain the necessary information. Both descriptive and inferential statistics will be utilized in the data analysis process.

The pre-post design would make it possible to evaluate the internship program by comparing the level of work satisfaction experienced before participation in the program to that experienced after participation in the program. The internship program itself would be the independent variable, and its success would be evaluated not only based on the amount of time spent there but also on the skills and experiences obtained on the job. The degree of job happiness of the student would serve as the dependent variable, and the level of job satisfaction would be evaluated using a job satisfaction scale. Surveys of the interns would be administered both before and after the internship program to obtain the necessary information. Both descriptive and inferential statistics will be utilized in the data analysis process. It is recommended that a pre-post design be used for this evaluation since it will make it possible to determine the extent to which the internship program contributed to the overall level of work satisfaction experienced by the student. The internship program serves as the independent variable, and the student's level of job satisfaction serves as the dependent variable in this experiment. Implementing a job satisfaction scale will make it possible to quantify students' contentment with the internship program they are participating in. Surveys will be given to the interns before and after the internship program to collect the necessary information. Both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics are going to be used in the analysis of the data.
