Problem
1. Read the poem entitled, "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.
2. If you were directing it as a short play, what theme (message) would you choose as the most important to convey to the audience?
3. How would you use the tools available to a director to communicate your vision to the audience? How would you direct the piece? You may discuss the type of stage, set design, lights, costumes, blocking, casting, sound, acting, etc. Justify your choices.
