I had never seen anything like the movie MOONLIGHT. I felt as though I was a part of the actual movie because of how it drew me in. At times, I even had a Chiron-like experience. The lighting in this movie heightened the particular emotion I was feeling at the time. When I sensed the characters looking at me, I actually felt like I was in the situation. The looks that seemed to be directed specifically at me transported me into the film. This hasn't happened to me in any other movies that I can recall, or if it has, it wasn't anywhere near as intense as it was in this one. I had a voyage filled with many various feelings thanks to MOONLIGHT. The scene where Chiron's mother yells straight at him stands out to me among all those that have this direct eye contact with the audience. Several times in the movie, but every time I feel afraid and like I done something wrong. I won't soon forget the direct eye contact in this film since every time I saw it, I felt like the character in the movie.
