In light of what you have learned about the resources required to care for a patient with a critical illness; think upon the experiences with high number of severe cases of COVID-19 in New York, Houston, and Miami and your own intrinsic moral and ethical values. How would you respond if faced with these decisions? Remember nurses serve in a variety or roles and settings and as such are faced with decisions and teaching moments on a frequent basis.
