Introducing and utilizing vocabulary words in daily conversation helps increase reading skills too. Another way to enhance this strategy would be in paired reading. Paired reading strategy builds confidence and reading skills in a cooperative learning group. It helps students learn to collaborate while building confidence to speak amongst their peers. Students have to use cooperation and accept different perspectives. How would you pair students? How would you model paired reading for students?
