• Where were you on September 11, 2001? Do you remember what you were doing on that day and at that time? If you were too young to remember, how do you feel when you watch the news footage from 2001 of the terrorist attacks in New York City; Washington, DC; and Pennsylvania?
On September 11 2001
o I was in Jamaica in high school in the seventh grade in my first class of the day which was my chemistry class.
o I was horrified when I saw the news, because at the time my mom and brother was living in new York so I was scared for my family.
• Consider the events of the Oklahoma City bombing. This was one of the largest terrorist attacks to occur on U.S. soil prior to the 9/11 attacks. Do you believe that the events could have been prevented? If so, how? If not, why? If you were working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, how would you have responded to the threat?
