During the course of the search of the old mayor's laptop computer you are told that you all are looking for a file named: "Mayoral_Secrets.docx." One of the digital forensics investigators has provided you with a file named: "Mom's Cookbook from Texas.pdf." Your supervisor is upset that you have brought them the wrong file. However, the forensic examiner indicated to you that the PDF was found using a search for a known hash value for the DOCX file. How would you explain this to your supervisor?
