For the Complete homework, write an essay (minimum of 1000 words) which addresses the questions and statements below. When finished, the essay should demonstrate a thorough understanding of the READ and ATTEND sections. A minimum of three scholarly sources are required, and all sources should be cited and referenced in APA format.
A. Select an essay and identify the author's thesis. That is, what is the author's claim or argument? How does the author develop the thesis? What reasons or types of evidence do they provide to support their claims? Which of their reasons do you find most compelling? How does the essay's structure convey the author's point?
B. How would you describe the author's persona? How does the writer create this persona? What is the essay's tone? What words, phrases, or images contribute to the tone? How do the author's persona and the essay's tone contribute to the author's purpose and/or the essay's overall impact?
C. How does the author's argument relate to our world today? Do you agree or disagree (or both) with the author's claim(s)? Why? What personal experiences have you had that support your position?
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
