1. How would you describe sub-Saharan Africa in the 1500s? What were the civilizations like? (Use at least one specific example)
2. How did some nations in Africa change as a result of their contact with Europeans?
3. Were there any benefits to these new contacts? Were there any negatives?
4. What was the most interesting thing (or things) you learned from this documentary?
