Problem 1: How would you describe power in an organization? More importantly, how would you go about taking a critical approach to studying power in a restaurant that lacks employee retention? What would you look for - e.g. communication patterns, social media, the organization's webpage, etc. Articulate the approach you'd take.
Problem 2: From the viewpoint of a feminist critique, how would you explain the notion of disciplined bodies? Can you explain this concept? Additionally, can you articulate the approach you'd take in studying it? Hint: you'll want to look at organizational communication which normalizes the look, behavior, expectations and interpretations of bodies.
Problem 3: Finally, use the feminist approach to determine the impact you might have on your current organization, a restaurant lacking employee retention, if this were your research focus.
