Problem
There's a lot of confusion over how we talk to and about each other. Some of that confusion has to do with power structures and concept formation, as we see in Briana Toole's "From Standpoint Epistemology to Epistemic Oppression" and Emily Ladau's "What Should You Call Me? I Get To Decide". Though these readings might not seem relevant to a discussion of free speech, our goal is to see if we can make the connection explicit.
