If the job gets done faster due to more workers being hired then the work ends sooner and without an existing contract signed and ready to go the construction workers could possibly be out of work for awhile. How would hiring more construction workers make the existing construction workers work harder? If the work load is lighter it leaves room for down time and/or slacking doesn't it?
