How would an organisation that offer activities for children

Problem

The EARTH Centre is a non-profit organization formed by people who are passionate about helping the underprivileged communities. The Earth Centre focuses on therapeutic horseback riding for children with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, ADD/ADHD, and deafness to that end. Because the vast majority of riders come from low-income households, participation in the program improves their quality of life and helps them to break away from marginalization. Lessons are conducted on weekday mornings in our Centre on Peter Road, Ruimsig, which is close to IIE MSA. During these lessons, volunteers are needed to assist teachers by directing horses and side walking riders. Riders may require up to three volunteers to assist them during the ride, depending on their handicap and ability. Being in charge of guiding the horse and ensuring its safety is what leading implies. Side Walking means physically assisting the rider (if necessary), encouraging and reassuring him or her. Riding experience, knowledge of horses, and awareness of limitations are not necessary. Beginner and advanced training is given on a regular basis to assist volunteers in developing or refining their skills. Every year, volunteers must attend at least two training sessions.

Therapy Riding is a carefully designed program in which people with disabilities are taught a skill while receiving one-of-a-kind therapy to assist them overcome some of the issues they face and integrate positively into society. Riding a horse is a strong treatment that cannot be replicated in a therapy session. Among the advantages are improved muscle tone, posture, balance, coordination, social and interpersonal skills, decision-making ability, and confidence. Throughout the year, this program serves 160 adolescents in weekday morning group lessons. Students come from the 11 schools presently funded. Nine of these schools have been riding with us for over ten years, one for a year, and another was joined in January 2019. The bulk of these programs are free of charge, with schools and riders contributing whatever they can. In the afternoons, they can accommodate up to 20 riders for one-on-one or group training.
