1. Choose a hazard or threat
2. Assess the criticalities and consequences of the chosen hazard or threat.
3. Choose a facility (business, school, government, etc.).
4. What countermeasures are in place?
5. Are the countermeasures in place designed to deal with your threat or hazard?
6. How will you assess the probability of the threat or hazard occurring?
7. Given what you know from the answers to the above mentioned questions, what mitigation strategies would you recommend to deal with your hazard or threat? Why?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Please support points with scholarly sources.
- Must use a minimum of seven scholarly resources (e.g. academic journals and academic textbooks) to carry out your research for this paper. Wikipedia and Cliff Notes are unacceptable resources, for example, as are blogs, newspaper articles, and editorials.
- Paper cannot be written about a drought or the emergency service sector for the federal government.
