Evidenced Based Practice and "The Sacred Cow"
Evidenced based practice in nursing is so important. It is the " why" of the interventions that we complete. I want everyone now to think about the comment " That is the way we have always done it". Have we all heard this before in nursing? These are somethings called Sacred Cows.
As a future nurse leader, how will you address Sacred Cows in your workplace and advocate for practice that is based on the best available evidence?
