The company is tasty trail that is a food delivery service that brings the best of local cuisine straight to the door. The purpose of this assignment is to investigate how the business will function from the perspective of human resources management.
A. For the first year of the company's operation, who will be working at the company and what roles will they have? Will they be employed and or will they be private contractors to your company, that is, legally not employees? Describe each type of person(s).
B. Who will conduct the actual marketing and selling of the company's products and or services? Have they been professionally trained to sell? Will the company provide any of the sales training? Describe.
C. Who will set targets and manage and monitor the sales effort?
D. How will those identified in (B) and (C) above be compensated? What incentives, if any, will be in place?
E. For all aspects of your business, how do your competitors compensate each type of their employees and or contractors?
F. What are your responsibilities as an employer to both your employees and to the government? Think in terms of taxes, safety, health, benefit plans if any.
G. How will as the business owners be compensated? Will you be employees of the company?
H. Describe how will attract and recruit new employees and or contractors to your business?
I. How will you describe their functions?
J. How will you monitor their performance?
K. Who in the company will be responsible for signing letters of offer, letters of termination?
L. Do you envisage any legal issues in recruiting and employing the staff you have in mind?
M. From the perspective of the customer, how will we ensure that those employees and or contractors are properly trained? What are the consequences if they are not properly trained
