Focused on different types of learning as well as what influences memory. In particular, we learned about classical and operant conditioning. This can tie in pretty well with this week's topic of motivation, emotion, and how stress can influence each.

Can you think of one or two ways that you have been conditioned to feel stress? Consider how we learn behaviors through both classical conditioning and operant conditioning. Have you been conditioned to feel stress?

Personality and intelligence theories and assessments aim at describing characteristics that each of us has. While we are of course unique and individuals, it can be helpful to have names for these characteristics and to know that others share similar characteristics with us (or different characteristics from us). How does knowing personality similarities and differences benefit us? How does it benefit our relationships with others? Are there downfalls to knowing this information, and if so what are they?
