How we address human health and well being with technologies

Problem

Electricity use and industrial uses (uses parts of the electromagnetic spectrum not naturally created) of the electromagnetic spectrum have been apart of development and especially urbanization since 1880. Since WWII the focus on microwaves and radar parts of the spectrum have grown exponentially for communications/data transfer purposes. Along with the general electrification of our lives it is hard to imagine our last 150 years on the planet not having electricity or these items using electricity in our homes and businesses. This book brought together many challenging, challenged, and controversial topics covering research studies from the present to the late 1700s.

Reflecting on the book and its chapters of evidence and speculation, provide both PRO and CON statement summaries to the following statement:

"The increasing use of electromagnetic frequencies is a human rights emergency, which affects hundreds of millions of people on a planetary scale, and it an environmental emergency that threatens plants and animals."

Finally, should we be more precautionary with digital technology with regards biology? Realizing corporations and technology development go hand in hand, with the focus on the profit motive driving the system, how should we address human health and well being with the technologies discussed in the book? Is their a middle ground?
