Problem:
Technology impacts most of what I do every day, from my morning coffee to the laptop I use for college. These and several other advancements enhance my life, and as Campbell (2021) describes, they are essential components of our connected society. However, some tools, such as multi-factor logins, complicate my day; even though I understand the security reasoning, the constant PINs and password changes are frustrating.
If I could eliminate one technology, it would be the typing sounds on cell phones-they are unnecessary and annoying! Conversely, I must keep my son's GPS watch. It relieves my anxiety by allowing us to text and track his location, giving him freedom to play.
We have become dependent on technology because it provides efficiency and makes the "impossible" possible, such as medical technology that enables paraplegics to walk. I agree with Campbell (2021), warning that digital dependence can sometimes be unhealthy or lead to laziness, but I also think it keeps us safe. Personally, I find it healthy to track my steps and message my doctor directly rather than wasting time on in-person appointments. By balancing these tools, I use technology to improve my safety and health. SEND PEERS' RESPONSE TO THIS DISCUSSION WITH 200 WORDS. Need Assignment Help?
